How you can support Camp Trillium in 2015 on #GivingTuesday Published December 1, 2015

Once every year, Canadians celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of charities and non-profit organizations around the world on GivingTuesday. Use this time to support Camp Trillium, a place of love, laughter and healing for children with cancer and their families since 1984.Giving Tuesday

There’s a certain C-word you rarely here at Camp Trillium: cancer. That’s because our campers aren’t defined by their disease. Our campers are defined by who they are – their hobbies, their talents, their dreams… Our campers are just kids.

Our Winter Camps are only a month away! Here’s how your donation can help a child with cancer:

  • A $10.00 donation can buy enough arts and crafts supplies for a day of activities for one child coming to winter camp.
  • A $30.00 donation can purchase a new ice helmet for kids coming to spend their weekend at winter camp.
  • $175.00 sends one child to winter camp for one day.  Their day will be filled with fun in the snow, winter sports and activities and memories to last a lifetime.
  • $350 sends a child facing cancer to Camp Trillium for the whole weekend.  All meals are covered and all activities.  There is no cost to our families for this camp and we receive no government funding.
