Rainbow Lake

Since 1998, our wilderness escape in Norfolk County has been operating year-round

Rainbow Lake, in Waterford, has generously been donated to Camp Trillium by the Long Point Region Conservation Authority. The 143 acre facility is a child’s paradise, providing a 35 acre private lake for water sports in the heart of a wooded wilderness.

Opened officially in 1998, Rainbow Lake is a year-round facility that has fully winterized buildings. Rainbow Lake runs family and residential camps in the summer and during the year runs teen, family and winter residential weekends.

Rainbow has 8 cabins that are a semi-attached design able to accommodate 16 people in each side and washrooms (separate cabins for staff and volunteers). Rainbow Lake has a capacity of 230 people, however, Camp Trillium has camps no larger than 120 campers at a time to ensure an intimate, friendly and family-oriented camping experience.

The activities that Rainbow Lake has to offer are as follows: For each activity we have trained and knowledgeable staff instructors.
